BUDDY BALL WILL RETURN mid/LATE APRIL MORE INFO TO FOLLOW

This year, we are thrilled to introduce to our area The Bambino Buddy Ball Division.  The league encompasses players ages 5 - 19 who are either physically and/or mentally challenged.  The division makes allowance for a "buddy" to help the player swing a bat, round the bases, catch a ball, etc.  There are no restrictions to the age of the "buddy".

Details

When:  Sunday Afternoons at 2:00 beginning  mid April

Age Requirements:  Special Needs Players age can vary from age 5 to age 19.  If your child is older, please contact us to learn more or request an age adjustment.  Buddies ages can range from the T-ball level to our Legion Leagues, and everyone in-between.

Where:  Ron Anderson Diamond at Urban   (701 Harvey Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086)

Your Players Needs:  A glove, a water bottle.  Optional:  cleats, baseball pants (or sweat pants, we do not recommend shorts unless your child strongly prefers them.)

Your Player Also Needs:  Volunteers!  Each team will be comprised of our Special Needs Players and Buddies from our youth baseball programs.  Parents, friends, and all participants that want to get involved or attend as a fan are welcome!

Equipment Provided:  Helmets, bats, balls, team shirts and caps.

Cost:  There is NO COST to participate in this league.  All games and events will be offered for free of charge; the league welcomes family or corporate sponsors.
