Volunteers:

We need volunteers to help! If you would like to coach, please register in SportsEngine. If you would like to get involved in other ways, click here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/14M_EhU2KRPZDcrC_UCyGqYKIliCy2XSW3Jx419FVOKk/edit) for our Google Form to sign up! We have one day or season long jobs; if you are willing to help, we are happy to put you to work!

Financial Aid:

Sponsorships:

Baseball Tournament Teams:

Each year, we enter District tournament teams at the 8U-12U age levels to play in the District Tournament. Many of our teams have earned the opportunity to play in the State tournament. Each team plays additional tournaments outside of Districts and States.

 

District tournaments are hosted by teams in our District. We are once again hosting the 12U District Tournament at Urban. All families in the tournament program are expected to assist with the tournament.

 

Districts will be 6/15 to 6/24. Precise start date and end dates will be determined by field availability, number of teams in the age group (as many as 8), and weather. State tournament dates are 6/28 to 7/2 for 9U – 12U and 7/5-7/9 for 8U.

 

Teams are formed through tryouts. We have scheduled tryout for the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21 with a raindate of April 26-28. Before trying out for a tournament team, please understand that these teams play highly competitive baseball. Playing time is not guaranteed. Families are expected to commit to attending all practices and tournaments. There is an additional cost of approximately $250 which will be collected prior to the tournament season. Playing up is not allowed.

When we have enough coaches and players, we will field B teams. These teams play local tournaments as well as the Iron Man tournament scheduled for 7/12 -7/14 (10u – 12U B teams). B teams are formed after District team tryouts starting with players who tried out for but did not make the District team. If you are interested in playing a B team but not trying out for the District team, please contact the head coach of your age group to be included.

Off Season Training:

Our Saturday morning clinics at EL1 in Newtown Square continue every Saturday in January and February for ages 7 - 12. The focus of each training will be on fundamentals.

There is no commitment, but please register in advance. EL1 will combine sessions if we don’t have enough kids. The cost is $25 per session.

The following are the times for each age group:

Ages 7 & 8 | 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM

Ages 9 & 10 |10:30 AM - 11:45 AM

Ages 11 & 12 | 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM
