Registration Information:
We have limited space available in our Majors, Minors, Rookies and Softball programs. Minis, Tball and Seniors continue to accept registrations, but will be closing soon.
Please register your children to play at npaabaseball.com.
Evaluations:
Thank you to our commissioners and coaches for organizing our evaluations. Between Minors, Majors and Softball, we got a look at a lot of our players!
Rookies evaluations are going to be over the course of two weekends. We will have evaluations on both 3/2 and 3/9. Please try your best to make at least one of the sessions. Rookie parents should have received more information. If you haven’t contact, JP Pedergnana at jpederg@gmail.com.
Seniors, Minis, and TBall do not have evaluations.
Volunteers:
We are looking for Home Run Derby coordinators for each division and softball. This is our single biggest fundraiser and helps us fund capital improvements at our fields! This year, the softball field at Smedley is getting a makeover and Bullens is getting a shed. We’d like to be able to add batting cages at Smedley and Hepford as well as install dugouts.
We also need a Picture Day Coordinator, ideally a TBall parent!

Off Season Baseball Training: EL1 fundamentals & All Star Pitching:
Our Saturday morning clinics at EL1 in Newtown Square continue every Saturday in March for ages 7 - 12. The focus of each training will be on fundamentals. There is no commitment, but please register in advance. The cost is $25 per session. This is open to all NS Baseball players.
The following are the times for each age group:
Ages 7 & 8 | 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM
Ages 9 -12 |10:30 AM - 11:45 AM

Additionally, we are offering a baseball pitching clinic through All Star Broomall on March 2nd. The clinic is for ages 7U-12U and will cover mechanics, repertoire, and mental preparation. For 11U & 12U, they will also cover pick off moves.

Seniors and Legion Baseball
For our baseball players who have graduated from the 50/70 Majors field to the 60/90 field, Nether has competitive rec baseball options for you. For our 13 to 15 year old players, Seniors is our spring rec baseball division. Typically, we play in a league with local baseball districts (Aston, BYC, Brookhaven, etc.). Home games played on the NPE baseball field.
For our baseball players looking for even more competitive baseball over the summer (End of May thru mid July), Nether will be holding tryouts near the end of April for our Nether Legion baseball teams. Our baseball players will be trying out for two different age-group teams...
Legion Prep: Any player born in the 2010 and 2011 calendar year. Legion does not use Cal Ripken birthdate cutoffs, the year of your birth is the only thing that matters. Last summer's Prep team made it to the state playoff!
Legion Youth: Any player born in the 2008 and 2009 calendar year. Our Youth team from last year had a great year with some clutch wins in the Division playoff.
Don’t forget to register for Seniors and/or the Legion tryout ASAP! Seniors do not have evaluations for team formation.
Buddy Ball 2024
Our Bambino Buddy Ball League will be back for another fun season! Our Buddy Ball program is designed to partner developmentally challenged children (i.e., Players) with developmentally average kids (i.e., Buddies) for a two-inning simulated baseball game. Our first pitch will be on Sunday, April 21 at 2 pm at Ron Anderson Diamond at Urban (701 Harvey Rd, Wallingford). Our season will culminate in our Buddy Ball World Series on June 9.
